AccelerateHER

A vibrant network of female founders and partners who share the passion to accelerate the growth, visibility and backing of talented female business founders and leaders.

Pledge 1

AccelerateHER committed to collaborating with at least 2 new partners to increase the number of female founders accessing their programmes as a result of that collaboration. They continued their work with CodeBase, but also added Edinburgh Innovations, Tramshed, CivTech, and Elevator to their list of partners.

Pledge 2

They committed to adding additional material to their existing portfolio of education events and increasing the number of female founders becoming investor ready. The pilot of their new W2W programme launched in December 2024, with 14 female founders and 7 potential women investors taking part. Participants heard from Gwen Edwards, Managing Director of Golden Seeds in Silicon Valley, as well as experienced angels from Investing Women Angels and founders who have successfully fundraised, including Danae Shell of Valla and Rachel Jones of SnapDragon. The pilot programme received very positive feedback.
